Terms of Use

Last updated: [August 20, 2026] Welcome to HSF Time (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of hsftime.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

Who We Are

HSF Time publishes high school football news, scores, rankings, and schedules covering our region. We are not affiliated with any school, athletic association, or league we cover unless stated otherwise.

Using the Site

You may browse, read, and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Copy, republish, or redistribute our articles, rankings, or other original content without permission
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract content from the Site
• Use the Site to harass, defame, or post false claims about any player, coach, team, or school
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Site’s normal operation
• Impersonate HSF Time staff or another user

Comments & User Submissions

If you post a comment or submit a score tip, photo, or story idea (via our Contact page or comment sections):

• You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t post anything false, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• By submitting a photo, tip, or story idea to us, you grant HSF Time permission to publish, edit, and credit it on the Site, unless you tell us otherwise when submitting.
• We reserve the right to remove any comment or submission, and to block users who violate these Terms, at our discretion.
• Comments reflect the views of the individual commenter, not HSF Time.

Accuracy of Content

We work to keep scores, rankings, schedules, and stats accurate and up to date, but high school sports data changes fast and comes from many sources — games get postponed, rosters change, and we sometimes rely on fan-submitted tips. We can’t guarantee everything on the Site is error-free. If you spot a mistake, please let us know and we’ll correct it.

Rankings Disclaimer

Our rankings reflect the editorial judgment of HSF Time based on team performance, records, and available results. They are opinion, not an official or governing-body ranking, and are not affiliated with any state athletic association, MaxPreps, or other ranking service.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to outside sources (such as MaxPreps) for schedules and data we don’t publish ourselves. We aren’t responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites, and linking to them doesn’t mean we endorse everything on them.

Advertising

The Site displays ads through Google AdSense and/or other ad networks. See our Privacy Policy for details on how those networks use cookies and data.

Our Content & Copyright

Original articles, rankings, and photography on the Site are owned by HSF Time unless otherwise credited. See our DMCA Policy for how we handle copyright claims, both ones we receive and ones we’d file if our own content is used without permission.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSF Time is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on its content, or inaccuracies in scores, rankings, or schedules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
